I do believe that UConn has five of the top 30 for this award but not with Stevens. So far, she's looked selfish and trying to force things rather than waiting for the offense to flow to get herself a better shot. I haven't seen her make a three yet including exhibition games so idk why she continues to let them fly. The so called best player on UConn is looking like one of the worst right now. Dangerfield looked like an All American in her first game. She did the same against Baylor in an early game last year, can she keep up the pace game after game?

Disappointed to not have a single mid-major on the list.

Obviously UConn is a P5 team in a mid-major conference. In fact, they are easily the best P5 team period, but they still play in a mid-major conference.

It is what it is.

Actually Allazia Blockton of Marquette also qualifies as not power 5, but none from the original mid-major designations.

Blockton is interesting since she's not even starting for Marquette.

I appreciate what you are saying but the P5 designation refers to conferences, not teams, and also more to financial resources than to athletic prowess.
In the same vein as your post, how many mid major teams (in terms of wcbb) are there in the P5 conferences? Nearly half?
