A few days ago I got an email blast from the WNBA:

2017 in Review; New Year's Resolutions; Welcome to Vegas

I scanned down and noticed a link to purchase tickets. I know the schedule isn't out yet but I was curious to see what information they had on the Aces because I will be going to at least a few games. They had links for 11 teams, but none for the Aces. Not much help for me. I then checked the teams that had links. 9 of the 11 teams had the following message:

We currently do not have any tickets on-sale

The other two (Dallas and Minnesota) had a link to season memberships.

So then I scrolled down the page to this message:

WNBA League Pass
Don't miss a second of action. Watch your favorite players and teams all season long - live or on-demand - with WNBA League Pass. Subscribe today
.

Let's see what they are doing for 2018. So I click.

There are no packages available for purchase.

I'm sure glad they sent me that email.

It’s hard to sell individual game tickets if there’s no schedule yet.

yet a team without current ownership is selling tickets to an arena they're likely not going to be playing in.

Maybe, just maybe, there's news around the corner about the Liberty and the schedule will be released by February 1.

Seems like the Dream were selling season tickets before the end of last season. I got lots of emails, etc. I logged onto my account and there was an invoice for renewal. Also they are selling various game packages as well. I believe some of the Dream faithful posted they have already renewed in another thread.) Maybe Vegas just hasn't gotten their staff together yet or something.

Given the Aces are part of MGM am not sure when or if they would get a stand alone site. They are taking season ticket deposits.

Well they get the same website every WNBA team gets: http://aces.wnba.com/ . Albeit you can't do much in terms of tickets from there either - it just links you to https://www.axs.com/events/347309/las-vegas-aces-season-tickets-deposit-event-tickets where you can place those same deposits.

The team has ownership. They just want to sell it. Someone's paying the employees to continue working as if there will be a next season.

So was there any information in it other than to purchase tickets/Live Access? Or are you complaining that the boilerplate they used didn't satisfy your particular needs?

My problem is that if you are going to send out an email that includes a specific link to purchase tickets, there should be some actual information about purchasing tickets. It would have been simple to send out the email without that link. Don't bring attention to tickets not being available 4 months before the start of the season because you don't have a schedule. I'm sure I will get another email when the schedule comes out.

There was other information in the email and it would have been fine if they didn't include the specific link to nowhere.
