this one could be the game of the day. well, for the P12 anyway. The SJU- Creighton one is pretty entertaining.

zoom zoom zoom. Debbie A. would like this pace. Daring Billings to shoot midrange seems like a smart defense...but she's making them.

It's still smart defense.

I like Mary Murphy, although I am at the game so don't know what she's saying.

she always sounds like this. maybe always drunk. maybe just a really really bad commentator. How has she ever stuck around so long is the question.

I don't mind her voice and she sounds better most of what I hear from the sec/big 12 channels. We'll agree to disagree. Wink

Yeah, can do. To me, she's better as a cheerleader, often doesn't even talk about what's happening in the game, and makes comments that are out in left field. [One of her favorites to repeat over and over during W games is how Candace can play all five positions. Yeah right.] Sometimes the person with her makes her a bit better by keeping her on track. Not happening tonight. But at least it's not Ann Schatz. That combo is deadly.

This game is getting ridiculous. I thought OSU would make an adjustment.

Bruins up 57-27 with 4:53 left in the third.

Yay! UCLA! Played very well!

UCLA was up by 40 (!) points at one point in the 4th quarter, before being reeled in to a final margin of 35 (84-49).

Congrats to the Bruin players and coaches who outplayed the OSU players and coaches tonight by very healthy margins!

I assume we'll face a very different (and angry) team in Corvallis next month, but last night was... something.

Btw, this 35-point loss was OSU's worst loss under Scott Rueck since the Beavers lost by 37 (90-53) at Stanford on 2/22/13. That particular Beaver team (year 3 in the Rueck era) finished 10-21 (4-14 in conference), and that particular Cardinal team finished 33-3 (17-1 in conference).

Anyway, yeah, very good night for the Bruins last night.

murphy doesn't let a game breathe for crissakes.
EVERYTHING is THE GREATEST play, move, pass, feat, shot, etc and it must be SHOUTED to the audience to MAKE THAT POINT.

i'm beginning to warm up to Christ and God, only becuz I fear there may be a hell that is mandatory listening to Shatz/Murphy doing a Big West game, over and over and over.....

No one is claiming Oreg. St. is overrated. Unusual. How did UCLA dominate so easily if their half court offense is as mediocre as some of us have said? Sorry I didn't see this game.

Mary Murphy is underrated.
