Something tells me the "Senior Living" promotion is going to go over like a lead balloon in the wake of the blizzard.

St. John's is still claiming Akina Wellere is a likely starter for this game, but given that she spent most of last game in a boot and had to be hauled to the huddle (when people even bothered- poor lonely 'Kina) I'm really skeptical of this.

So our hopes of offense rest on the availability of Andrayah Adams, who didn't dress last game, and someone- anyone- discovering a previously unseen propensity to score without fear of Joe yelling at her for the audacity of it.

I... am not feeling our first conference win tonight.

Judging by the stats and scores, this looks like a good game. St. John's holds a 30-29 lead at the half.

We're up 1 and I have no idea how it happened. And I'm here.

To the surprise of no one who saw the Providence game, Akina Wellere is not dressed and is wearing a boot.

PSA: it is cold as balls outside.

Seton Hall looked to be pulling away in their game so I flipped this one on via FoxSportsGo. St. John's has a 50-42 lead at the end of the third quarter.

it helps that Creighton (esp. Faber) seems unable to hit any shot anywhere. Moving basket?

Yikes - can see where this would be very nerve wracking. Hope St. John's can pull this one out.

Well - this sure hasn't been a boring game Smile. Tied at 62 with 3.7 secs to go - Creighton ball off the timeout.

Since I'm not aware of any Creighton fans here, congratulations, Queenie & Marquette Fan, on the win. Smile

I do not leave games early. I can always take the next train.

I'm relieved. Somewhat confused, but mostly relieved. The plays of the game are probably going to be claimed as the threes by Alisha Kebbe, but my God, did Imani Littleton do the things you want seniors to do today. Two big offensive rebounds in the OT, hitting shots she hasn't hit most of the year, big blocks, big boards- I like Imani as a person, so I'm especially happy when she has a game like this.

I don't really deserve any congrats - i was just pulling for Queenie's team and for a team tied with Marquette at the top of the BE to lose Smile. But maybe it would have been better for Marquette if Creighton was coming off a win heading into Sunday's game - who knows?

I left early once. My team down by 8 with 13 seconds to go. My team won. I vowed to not do that again.

Yeah I tried to leave early for a Villanova game where I was absolutely disgusted with Marquette's play. My then 4.5 year old begged to stay though - we were up on the concourse still when Katie Young hit a half court shot to beat Villanova that was the top play on SportsCenter that night. I ended up being glad that my daughter got me to stay Very Happy and I don't think I have left early since then.
