If the game was in IC I'd have picked the Hawkeyes.

And after a 1st.qtr which.featured vg shooting, the game reverts to wimmins basketball. 4 pts in the 1st 3 mins of the 2nd, featuring at least 7 missed bunnies. :/

Dear Iowa,
Stop jacking up threes at the beginning of the clock. You have one of the best posts in the Country. Get her the damn ball!

She's this team's leader, for sure.
Nice win over a ranked team for the Terps.

I love watching her shoot! I think she's the Terps best 3pt shooter since Kristi Toliver.

Having a completely healthy shoulder doesn't hurt, either.

Including tonight's stats, she's shooting 44% overall from three (61 of 136). She's 14-32 in B1G play for 43%. Slightly off night.

As well as the Terps played - great defense holding MG to 15 on 8 shots, 23 IA turnovers - they left a lot of points on the floor, missing too many layups and FTs. When they put it together, they're seriously fun to watch.

There was a 5 minute stretch, I believe it was in the second quarter, when they got good look after good look and failed to score. They could have blown the game wide open at that point, but allowed Iowa to stick around.
Nevertheless, a very good performance overall for the Terps.

Agree, it was a very good game for the Terps against a good team, especially defensively.
