Michigan lost at Penn State on a missed layup in their one meeting last year. That game was the last of the regular season and IMHO was one of the main reasons why U-M went WNIT instead of NCAA.

Flaherty now has 27. Michigan leads 70-47 at the end of 3Q. Thome’s been sitting the last 5 minutes with 4 fouls.

Flaherty finishes with 33 (10 threes). Thome fouled out but had 21 and 13. Final 89-69.
