Where did this Spangola come from? If it hadn't been for her brief spurt of 12 pts from the arc, it probably would already be over.

She's a sophomore who hasn't played much this season. Three point shooting is her specialty but she hasn't been shooting well this year. And I think I she had three quick turnovers in the Michigan game.

| No blowout but still a loss with ND prevailing 91-85. MU looks well on their way to the WNIT with a 6-5 non-conference record and zero impressive wins. This is shaping up to be a very disappointing season.

As I said in another thread, it's a very thin year. Hardly anybody is eliminated at this point. There is plenty of time to redeem yourselves this year. They have to take 32 at large teams from somewhere.
This glaring reality evidently offends some posters' sensibilities, but it's becoming more and more evident as we go along.
And, besides, there's no dominant team in the BE; Marquette could well win the auto bid.
