OkSU played Tennessee tough last week so this could be a good game. Cowgirls have two post players who are good offensively (although they let Mercedes Russell go off for 25 points). Curious to see how MCCowan handles them and vice versa. Bulldog backcourt is probabaly too deep and experienced for Cowgirls.

Loryn Goodwin could be a sleeper pick for 2018 draft. She transferred 4 times, everywhere she was she has impacted. Great scorer, strong guard and plays good D

Did anybody see this game? Sounds like a good game. How did these teams look?

I watched a bit of it flipping channels. It was interesting. Vivians looked better than I can remember. Itty Bitty had zero assists. They don't look like a #6 team to me. McCowan is big but doesn't dominate like she should. OkSU played better than I expected.

Vivians is shooting a much better percentage this season.

Yep, she's been making a case for first round.

Schaefer is bemoaning his teams lack of depth at the 4 position. Injuries (iggy Allen) and defections (Ameysha William) and lack of experience (Frosh Chloe Bibby JUCo Joni's Garvin) have forced him to play Vivians there, essentially going with a 4 guard line-up. Rebounding becomes a concern.

Mo William hasn't been putting up stellar numbers this year in terms of scoring but prior to yesterday's game she had been good at dropping dimes and taking care of the ball. But she seems to be very quiet following her acclaim from last season.

She played very well against Tenn in Cancun (29 pts and made the rest of the team better too) and was on the all-tournament team. TBH, I thought she was the most impressive player I saw in the tournament after Nared. I think she'll end up with a pro career somewhere.
