How do the various computer rankings rate the teams so far?

If we combine these rankings like a poll we get...

1 Connecticut
2 South Carolina
3 Notre Dame
4 Baylor
5 Louisville
6 UCLA
7 Mississippi State
8 Florida State
9 Texas
10 Maryland
11 Ohio State
12 Oregon State
12 Stanford
14 Oregon
15 Tennessee
16 Washington
17 Duke
18 Arizona State
19 Kentucky
20 Green Bay
21 West Virginia
22 Michigan State
23 Syracuse
24 DePaul
25 NC State

This type of comparison will be interesting at the end of December (and afterwards). Right now it means nothing because in most cases the rankings are based on some preset values (usually based on last year), or there is far too little data for it to be meaningful (RPI). As for the averaging, your use of several different systems and providing equal weight to each might make sense if their calculations were essentially independent. But as I look at the ratings you have both RPI and real time RPI. Over time I believe these two would essentially track, except for timing, but as of now I believe the real time RPI is using no data from this season..

Your calculations do give me an idea. All polls and all computer systems have inherent biases. I happen to think that the people on this forum are among the smartest women's college basketball analysts in the country (not all of them of course), and would probably be more qualified than the panel from either the AP or USA Today. If there is sufficient interest (at least 10 people), I would propose our own poll to start after the games of Sunday December 31, and each Sunday thereafter. I could tabulate the results and have a poll out before the AP.

Real Time RPI also does Power Rankings, independent of RPI, which is shown above

So, not all of the ratings are updated weekly.

Adding them together we get

1 Connecticut
2 Louisville
3 Notre Dame
4 Baylor
5 South Carolina
6 Ohio State
7 UCLA
8 Texas
9 Oregon
10 Florida State
11 Maryland
12 Tennessee
13 West Virginia
14 Green Bay
14 Stanford
16 Michigan State
17 Oregon State
18 Duke
19 South Florida
20 Iowa
20 Kentucky
22 Michigan
23 Washington
24 Elon
24 Oklahoma

I'll bet they're 3rd. That also explains why he lists 25 teams in his table but only 24 teams in his composite ranking. We still appreciate the effort, pilight!

Who is Sonny Moore and is there any reason to pay attention to his rankings?

BTW, there is a Hoopfeed/Sport Tours International poll voted by
Amanda Butler
Lisa Bodine

Cindy Brunson
Cheryl Coward
Kevin Danna
Kris Gardiner
Mel Greenberg
Chasity Melvin
Lee Michaelson
Viet Nguyen
Ben Parker
Michael Roberson
LaChina Robinson

Brenda VanLengen

Might be worth including. http://www.hoopfeed.com/content/2017/11/28/sport-tours-international-hoopfeed-ncaa-di-top-25-poll-for-nov-28-2017-louisville-moves-to-no-2/

Just a guy who has been doing rankings for a long time. Like Kenneth Massey and Jeff Sagarin, but less well known.
