What an ugly first quarter. Miami shot 0-16 and scored 1 point. Colorado scored only 7 points. Yikes. It can only get better.

didn't expect Colorado to win this one. Miami must really be in a down year.

Buffs hold on for a 67-61 hard-earned victory over Miami (3-1). CU junior Alexis Robinson, who'd sat out the first half provided an offensive spark off the bench, including hitting Colorado's lone 3-pointer in 12 attempts. CU freshman forward Annika Jank picked up a double-double with 14 points and 12 boards.

Colorado (3-1) also received a hot-handed 16 points from senior guard Brecca Thomas. Junior guard Kennedy Leonard added 11 points and contributed eight assists and five steals. Kennedy was, however, only 1-of-8 from the field and 9-of-16 from the stripe. CU junior Janea Bunn again stepped in for Robinson contributing solid performances on both ends of the court.
