Wow. Oklahoma ties the game with a FT with 13 seconds left in OT and then DePaul hits a 3 with 1 second left: DePaul wins 111-108.

Wow. Coleman is an Illini transfer to DePaul.

(....whatever could THAT mean?? Shocked )

Couldn't watch the game, but DAMN those DePaulians.....they always have these High Volume shootouts with Oklahoma, and the results seldom vary.

Northern Iowa got in as an at-large last year with their non-conference wins over Creighton & Kansas State, so depends how they do the rest of the season. (Same with New Mexico after beating Marquette). Smile

That assumes Marquette bounces back after this. I'm hoping they can rebound after this but I was already worried about them living up to their expectations and tonight did not help that concern at all.

Congrats to DePaul - nice win in what sounds like an exciting game.

Northern Colorado's path would be very difficult. Even if DePaul wins the Big East, that is only one good win. Their remaining non-conference schedule includes only a few potentially quality teams, LSU (which already lost), Quinnipiac (which lost twice) and BYU (probably no better than 3rd in the WCC). The Big Sky had only 1 team in the top 100 of the RPI last year. The Bears can only afford only 3 losses, including the loss in the Big Sky Tournament, if they want any chance of an at large berth, and that is a tall order.

GREat bounce back from DePaul. We looked much better yesterday than Friday, although I gotta say Northern Colorado played so amazing and they’re really well coached. They are a team to watch for in my opinion.
