This was one of the most heartbreaking matches I've seen in 26 years of following the program.

No. 25 Colorado dominated early and then held on to take the first set 25-20. No. 4 Stanford dominated the second set. The Buffs staged a late rally to take the third set 29-27.

The Buffs were at match point twice in the fourth set, yet fell 27-29. Stanford dominated early in the fifth set. The Buffs showed heart, but fell
12-15.

Colorado had impressive victories vs. Illinois and at then, No. 22 Colorado State prior to conference play. It's going to be a great season for Pac-12 volleyball fans.

Colorado swept No. 19 USC in Boulder last night. This was the Buffs (15-5, 5-4) first victory over the Trojans (14-6, 6-3) in their history. CU junior middle blocker Nagedhe Abu is a force!

Colorado (19-6, 9-5) swept No. 11 Washington (18-6, 8-5) tonight in Boulder. This marked CU's fourth-consecutive PAC-12 victory. Buffs'junior outside hitter Alexis Smith paced the Buffs with a match-high 14 kills and 12 digs.

This should launch Colorado back into the rankings. Go Buffs!
