Surprised at a few that are still on the board, but sadly I too have to pass on them to address some glaring issues with my team...

My 7th and 8th round signees are:
Amy Griffin (G/F, La Salle)
Tori Schickel (F, Butler)

I will likely be off line most of today. I've sent my next pick to Pure who picks right after me so hopefully someone sends him a PM when it's my turn.

Have fun.

Myrtle selects what would have been my next pick, Ivy Brown, F, WKU

I pureformofthegame select Caitlin Jenkins, F, Rutgers, and hope that she is the sleeper pick of the year.

Does anybody remember who was in the championship game?
How does Bego Faz Davalos get drafted 5+ rounds ahead of Teaira McCowan? She's going to be the uncontested center this year. The rest of the team is still available too: Victoria Vivians, Morgan William.

I'm back from doing my civic duty, in case anyone cares. Laughing

Glad I finally got the opportunity to steal a player from under someone's nose. hee. hee.

As for Sydney Means, I really really wanted her but my partner in crime said no, no, no Crying or Very sad

I was never going to pick Nurse. Since I saw the guns on Dangerfield I'm confident she can fight off my jinx. Very Happy

Good players do not always equal the best stat lines. I love lil Morgan but on my overall list she's #250. And Vivians shoots a lot but her %'s are lower than just about anyone 'takeable'. McCowan's 61% from FT line is practically a category killer.

But hey, you could join us instead of telling us who to take!

NoNoNOOO.....<*Howee smacks Myrtle*>

Please allow Howee to go with Teaira McCowan, MS-State. (Myrtle did only what I'd asked, but....hopefully we can manage this. Right Cardi-Boi?) Very Happy

Crying or Very sad now he resorts to physical violence... poor Myrtle.

Does anyone object to the change in pick? Does it effect what anyone else would have done since that pick? If so, in fairness he should be stuck with the better player he originally took Very Happy

Well, well, well. What's this? Howee's trying to stir the pot after he realizes that he makes a mistake? Are we to consider myrtle's posts fake news from now on?

After much delay, and sadness because one of my favorite players is not back from her season ending knee injury, the Cardinal will forge forward.

I'll take Delaney Hodgins of Eastern Washington and Savannah Scott of Northern Colorado!

I think Lynx has still not made her first (8th round) pick, but, unless she lusts after one of Cardinal's picks, we will put those on the books and she can make her 8th and 9th picks.

I think we're all getting giddy as we near the finish line. I will try to get the lists on the front page up to date sometime tonight.
