2001 has also had five different players (Jackson, Catchings, Nolan, Douglas, and Taylor) who all made All WNBA first team. That also seems pretty unlikely to happen again.

Delle Donne, Diggins, Griner, Meesseman and Bentley/Bone all making 1st team at some point in their career seems within the realms of posssiblity.

pilight, do you happen to have the tally of which Class has the most rings?
Thinking 2004 has to be at/near the top on the backs of Brunson, Whalen & Taurasi alone Question

Ewelyna Kobryn has the other one. She was an undrafted rookie in 2011 and won a title with the 2014 Mercury.

Oh crap. Wright is from 2010.

I'm not sure what would be the point of adding free agents who could be signed any year. The point should be seeing how draft classes do.

The USA numbers for 2001 are particularly impressive when you consider that the number does not include the international play of a World Champion MVP or the possible GOAT.

It's the easiest way to account for them

2019 update

Good year for the class of 2014 with three All WNBA nods, two All defense players, and the DPOY.

2013 got two first team All W spots, moving them into a tie for 4th all time. They also became just the third class to win multiple MVPs.

2008 got their 3rd MIP, tying them for the most ever.

2012 got the first Perrot award for any post-2003 class.

2020 update

2017 is finally on the board!

2008 gets a 9th 1st team All WNBA nod, moving them into a tie for third all time. They now have half as many as 2001.

2008 also got a 4th DPY, still second behind 2001's six.

2015 picked up a second MIP, now one off the all time mark of three held by 2001, 2008, and 2009.

2016 snagged a second finals MVP, moving them to a tie for third behind 2001 and 2008.

What does the USA Column represent? I was under assumption that it would be players selected to national team , but I’m probably wrong. Stewie from 2016 would give them 1 if that were the case.

That's for the USA vs WNBA select team games they did in 2004 (The Game at Radio City) and 2010 (Stars at the Sun). The W has been inconsistent in whether those count as All Star appearances, so I list them alongside the actual All Star games.

2016 is just the third class to have multiple players win MVP, after 2001 and 2008

2016 also picked up a third Finals MVP, tying them for second most with 2008. Only 2001 has more.

2013 got a 10th first team All WNBA mention, the third class to reach double digits after 2001 and 2004

they did one of those this year too didn't they? Or do you count that some other way?

They promoted it as the All Star Game, unlike the previous question marks

2023 update

I decided to separate the undrafted and allocated players from the draftees

2016 picked up a third MVP, tying them for second most

2015 is now the most recent class to win a Sportsmanship Award

2021-23 are all still shut out of year end awards. 2021 is shut out of everything.
