That's for The Game at Radio City in 2004 and the Stars at the Sun in 2010, when we had WNBA All Star teams play against Team USA.

Tina Charles, NY (could be in next 2-3 years)
Angel McCoughtry, ATL (could be in next 3-4 years)
Elena Delle Donne, CHI (could be in next 3-4 years)
Breanna Stewart, SEA (I think it will be several years for her)
Skylar Diggins, DAL (Also think it will be several years for her)

Is MVP shares something you concocted? What's the formula?

The WNBA list on this page appears to be several years out of date

McCoughtry might be looking to go to a title contender in 2018. Just saying...

Yeah that would be my offer. Not bad.
But I do not believe Angel has any interest in leaving Atlanta, her family and new business are there. If Atlanta brought in one more star level player to add to Angel, Hayes, Sykes, E. Wil, Dantas and hopefully the good version of Boyette they are just as likely to be as good next season as anyone not named the Sparks or Lynx.

I would never trade Charles (and I doubt Angel leaves Atl) but what would the hypothetical Atl offer be?
Hayes and E. Will? They need more than that. I'm not sure there is a correct 3rd player to add to the mix. Boyette, Sykes or Holmes would be the most realistic but I still don't think its the right balance. Maybe if Atl had its lottery pick then Hayes, E. Will and lottery pick would seem about right, but NY needs another franchise player to add Charles and therefor simply can't afford to make that move.
So send Angel to NY.

Why would Atlanta do that? And what on earth does New York have to offer, that Atlanta would take back in a trade? Unless they're giving up Charles, the only thing that New York has to offer Atlanta for McCoughtry is lesser versions of players they already have.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't, but come on, Angel and Charles deserve a 'ship, hooking up would be great.
Plus there was a rumor that Atl was going to trade Angel last year for Sims and #3 to Dallas. There's never been a rumor about NY trading Charles, plus Charles demanded a trade to NY in the first place.
But yes I highly doubt Atl would trade Angel, and especially not to NY for Stokes, Rodgers and #10 which is pretty much the best NY could do.

I feel like this might be even more interesting with retired players included (maybe in a different colour). You'd get a visual idea of whether the likes of McCoughtry and Charles have gone past people like Hammon in the 'deserving' stakes.
I swear I don't mean to just suggest lots of extra work for you that I can't be bothered to do myself, pilight . Your efforts are appreciated as always. |

Tina demanded a trade to NYC, not to Westchester. Might make a difference in her outlook. To me, it seems more likely she would go to Atlanta than vice versa....but then it would seem even more likely that Maya would go there.

That comment was from the 17 season before Westchester was even a thought for the liberty.
Obviously now both Tina and Angel need to hook up with Edd in Washington. Ideally as free agents. Kill three best never with one stone.
Position-less front court wave of the future

Would Tina and Angel be comfortable playing 3rd and 4th fiddle to EDD and Atkins?

It's what Mystics fans deserve for suffering 21 seasons for a mere finals appearance (which we are extremely grateful for!)
