So I ordered something that was coming from the west coast. I tracked the shipment to Westville, IN (near Chicago for non-locals). Then it spent a couple of days in Perrysburg, OH (near Toledo). Now it is in Belleville, MI.

If this thing is travelling by semi it probably went within a quarter mile of where I live. Or 100 yards of where I work.

I know that the estimated delivery date is Friday, but that doesn't mean that you need to haul it all around til it's on time!!!!!!!

UPS is even worse.

I had a delivery last month scheduled for Saturday delivery. The tracking info had it coming from Wyoming to Pennsylvania to Baltimore, to Laurel, MD which is our local depot. So on Friday night, it was in Laurel, and on Saturday I expected to read "on truck, out for delivery". Instead it said that on Saturday it arrived in Baltimore.

So I called them and asked why it went back to Baltimore, where it had been two days before. All they kept repeating was " it has been delayed and will be delivered Monday.,". No explanation for it being in the correct spot but being sent back to the previous stop instead of being delivered as scheduled.

Thankfully it wasn't perishable.
