Vandersloot missed a ton of games.

Griner missed more.

Taurasi over Quigley is a joke, but otherwise fair selections. Maya does all that's expected of a guard, but the league should just go with more ambiguous position designations.

Vandersloot missed 6, Griner missed 8. Candace Parker half of the season in 2015 and made the 2nd Team. Vandersloot had a record breaking season.

The people that vote for these teams pick the popular players all the time. I'm sure most of the voters only watch a few games every season. I am just waiting for the results for the lottery order.

Sloot missed 7 games. They probably didn't like 11.5 ppg.

That, and Chicago likely got penalized for it's poor record. Phoenix was better than it was expected to be (although that was Griner), and DT had a better season this year than last.

Politics, politics, politics. The actual all wnba team is the one that wins the championship.

Vandersloot missed a ton of games.

With all those times that Taurasi didnt run back on defense you can make a point that she missed a couple of games aswell..

They should have made Parker a guard. She has been listed as such on the All Star ballot.

I'm a little amazed that seeing how Taurasi's age and college peer group is all donezo, how they dont see just how awesome it is to see still putting up 18 a game -right on par with most of the league's stars.

Sue Bird just had the highest APG of her career and she's older than Taurasi.

Actually, I forgot Brunson was 2004 in addition to Beard and Whalen.

Brunson is still one of the best post defenders in the league so i wouldnt call her dunzo or not being effective. Yes Taurasi still produces at a high level but dont forget she only plays on 1 side of the ball so she has some time to rest in games Laughing
