Until Sue Bird broke the record for the most career assists in WNBA history, this person was the previous record-holder!

Not sure who the Rocker player is, though.

With the recent passing of Playboy magazine founder/publisher Hugh Hefner, here's a shot of Lisa Harrison. She "won" a Playboy opinion poll of the "Sexiest Babes In The WNBA", many years ago. Harrison turned down what the magazine offered for her to pose nude.

With Sue Bird just having won this year's Kim Perrot Sportsmanship Award, here's a book that she wrote...

Will her next book be titled "Die, Bitches!"? Razz

With the San Antonio Stars now moving to Las Vegas, here's a look back at some memories of the Stars, also known as the Silver Stars.

Jayne Appel

Shenise Johnson and coach Dan Hughes

The late Margo Dydek (R.I.P.)

And last, but not the least...

Then-WNBA President Val Ackerman announcing that the Utah Starzz would relocate to San Antonio for the 2003 season, only if the team could attract at least 6,000 season-ticket deposits of $50 each by Nov. 15th, 2002. They did.

Shyra Ely digs in! Very Happy

[The photo was taken during a San Antonio Silver Stars team BBQ for the players and coaching staff in 2006.]

She is now a fashion consultant in her native Indianapolis.

Notice Sharon Manning is listed on the card as being a member of the Miami Sol, even though she is shown wearing a Charlotte Sting uniform. Apparently, the card was printed right before her only season (in 2000) with the Sol, which was her last WNBA season overall.

Sharon now coaches the girls' b-ball team at Greensilvle County High School in Emporia, Virginia.

Yeah, I think all the Dominion cards have old photos for players on the expansion teams.
