I don't have the time nor the desire to type all these out, but this is a link to a video with all the player ratings from NBA Live 2018. Ignore that this dude mispronounces like every other name.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LUsfkoisghk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Many of these ratings are a JOKE. Who did Kelsey Plum pay off to give her a 79 (one below Toliver)? KML 78. Hamby 80. Those 2 should be no where near 80. Alexis Peterson should be like in the 50's. 84 for Clarendon lol. C'mon. And, of course, Diggins, the most overrated player in college and WNBA history, is now the most overrated player in video game history with the highest score for a PG in the game, 88. Tied with over-the-hill Bird.

yeah they didnt spend much time on face scans as i thought neither . Maybe about 20 players got there faces actually in the game. Suprised not too see CP3 , Fowles & Tina Charles all have the wrong faces smh. This is just phase 1 hopefully next year when they go more in depth with the WNBA they will get this right. Game is still awesome though i cant lie !

The roles they have designated are laughable. Marissa Coleman is a Post Anchor in the same world that Crystal Langhorne is a Wing Scorer.

And how could they not find a picture of Courtney Vandersloot anywhere?

Still gonna buy it, but come on guys.

Natasha Howard having the worst one on the Lynx is laughable

Watched some game footage between Minny and Phoenix.

Whalen: is a close match
Augustus: doesn't like much effort was put into her character, which is sad because she would be so much fun to play with usng her handles and mid-range game
Maya: spot-on, even down to her size-up dribble and baseline fadeaway
Brunson: in the gameplay, she did not get a lot of touches, so I'm not sure
Big Syl: is a monster, but her face isn't right

DRob: close match
DT: designed really well
Mo. Currie: wrong number, looks lumpy, needs to be improved
Little: doesn't start and plays as a small forward?
BG: another really great design, moves like BG in the post, rebounds way too good though

Laughing Laughing The fact that she rarely misses from around the rim is a big improvement too .

I didn't expect them to spend that much time on it so I'm not surprised by some of this stuff - and the ratings would've drawn scorn from somebody whatever they were - but the roles stuff is bizarre. I get that this is a niche league, but it's not like it's hard to find a fan or two who watch the league. Literally five minutes with any one of us and you avoid ludicrous things like Cappie Pondexter as a 'post anchor'. Although I'm not sure how any guard is supposed to be a 'post anchor' in the first place.

I like that they have Lindsay Whalen as a post anchor & Tamera Young as a wing scorer.

I'm not surprised at all. Syl is an elite player on both sides of the ball. Due to the nature of how these ratings work, getting high marks in offensive and defensive stats will drive up the overall.

Maybe they're still tinkering with the graphics? Clarendon posted pics of her being face scanned a good couple of weeks after the initial announcement, and I remember her original video game version being so off model that I had to look up the Atlanta roster to make sure I had her number right.

Positions and roles need some work for sure. Can you edit those in-game?

I don't know in what world Crystal Langhorne is as good as Jonquel Jones Laughing Seems like overall Seattle players are very overrated and Connecticut players very underrated.

Sugar's offended that she's only an 80.

There's also a continuing theme of players below the superstar tier being off-model.

yeah all seattle players are indeed overrated on this game. Gray rated an 82 , but coming off the bench behind davis ! I think they paid attention to day 1 of the WNBA season and didnt bother to keep up with line up changes neither.

I can tell I only play video games with the word "Mario" in the title. I understand very little of this thread.

If Sugar Rodgers feels disrespected, how do starters Kia Vaughn and Shekinna Stricklen feel being ranked lower than the likes of premier talent like Alexis Peterson, Nia Coffey, Asia Taylor, the list goes on.

It seems like they picked these numbers at random. They could have gotten a fan or someone that actually watches the league to help them out.
