That would be consistent with historical precedent... although, if we're going by that, the fact that ROY was not presented at the DAL/WAS game is probably not a good sign for Wings fans...

They do it in front of the player's fans at home. Breanna Stewart was announced as ROY eight days after the Storm's 1st round playoff game (loss) at Atlanta.

Well, there you go; looks like the ROY train is back on track, WingsFan!


... Although, it does beg the question, what's the wait for, then? Are they hedging their bets that the team could advance? The earliest that Seattle could have hosted a playoff game last year would have been Game 3 of the semi-finals, and the Wings were in the same circumstance this year.
