It's great that they have an award for the Comeback Player.

New York’s Sugar Rodgers; sixth woman of the year; Epiphanny Prince, comeback player of the year. Prince missed most of last season while recovering from an ACL injury. She and Rodgers helped the Liberty to the third best record in the league. |
I kept hearing that Charles was single-handedly the reason for NYL's success this year.
Parker was second place for MVP, just like Voepel and RebellNation predicted.

1 vote out of 15 is basically statistical noise.

Really? Sykes scored more points, grabbed more rebounds, handed out more assists, with higher shooting percentages (FG and 3FG) in less minutes. I don't see a dead heat.

There didn't seem to be anyone who stood out this year, so I'd take it and smile.

If the criteria are anything like in the NBA, you can't have started more games than you came off the bench, and still be eligible for the award. 6WOY, moreso than any other post-season award, tends to be given out based on PPG over anything else. That pretty much makes it a toss-up between Rodgers and Tiffany Mitchell.

Mo Currie mostly came off the bench and scored more than either of them

Indeed she did; it may go to her, then.

She also played 36 games. Perhaps the Iron Woman Award? Getting traded may hurt her chances though.

Sugar Rodgers?
This would mean she's the best bench player in the WNBA. I dissent. |

I know Renee Montgomery played 36 games in 2015. Does anybody else share the record for most games played in a WNBA season with her and Currie?

Katie Smith was the first to play 36 regular season games, in 2005
