There's plenty of precedent for ROY being awarded to a players whose team doesn't make the playoffs. And Gray's impact is grossly overstated.
That said, I'd say 80/20 it's probably going to Gray. But Sykes might be better.

From what I witnessed in person today, Sykes should get ROY. All season she was the best player on her team. (But for some reason her teammates forgot about her and stopped getting her the ball!) Unfortunately they didn't make the playoffs so she may not get ROY.

Today, the Mercury (behind Griner) collected donations for Houston. BG hosted a pre-game charity breakfast and a post game auction. The Mercury donated $1 per paid ticket ($11,222). Total collected was over $66,000.
