Congrats and join the club.

What name are you going to use? My German grandfather was "opah" to most of his grandchildren, and I was going to use that in his memory. But I decided to use the traditional American "grandpa" instead.

BIG FAT "Congrats", buddy!

I've always regretted that I never might have any. They don't just let you skip the Part A (having kids) before you get to Part B (having grandkids).

I've thought there should be a Foster Grampa program, but....never heard of one. Cool

I've got the opposite situation: had the child, but won't have any grandkids. daughter & son-in-law are opting out of the breeder class. Smile

Both my grandfathers passed before I was born so I didn't get to call them anything. My kids called my father-in-law Paw paw. Thought that was cool so I'm going with that.

Yeeeah, thatd kinda a requirement unless you're family-like friends with people with children. That's how I have so many nieces and nephews that aren't blood relatives.
