You know, the "they haven't lost consecutive games since 3/93 and open at tOSU in Nov." story that ESPN will hype to high heaven. That game will be, I think, the 887th game of the current run.

Or should we wait until after Labor Day? Twisted Evil

Given that internet forums are bereft of multi-tribal WCBB conversation, of course it's not too early to discuss this game of the century. The odds are even computable. UConn will be favored by 12 points and the over/under will be 143.

I had previously estimated the line at 18, although that may be a bit high. As for the total, I'd look for 158. At 143 I wouldn't be able to keep any money in my pocket. But alas, I seriously doubt that anyone will put up a line on this game.

A more interesting line would be whether UConn goes undefeated this season. Right now I would make them a slight underdog, maybe 7/5, and make them an odds on favorite to win the Championship, 5/7.

Ohio State isn't all that, let alone a bag of chips.

I recently became aware that UConn's opponent in Columbus has been changed from tOSU to SU.

Cause for concern.

Exactly my thoughts . Playing UCONN early is always best , But playing stanford early is Deadly !! Big cause for concern . Tara's teams are always tough for geno to handle ! Although i do believe UCONN will still win this game it will be sloppy !

Last year's game at Florida State gave everybody hope. It took all the way till Mississippi State for The Dream to come true. Stanford? Cool

Condoleza will have had 3 months for her buddies at MKUltra to convince the trees that they are NBA all-stars.

Streaks end. If this game was in tree-friendly Maples the Huskies would be in trouble. In Columbus Ohio not so much.

This is obviously the first test for this team. On paper it is a mismatch. Let's see if the Huskies has regained the meddle they lost in the last game last year. Gabby will be fine; however, it is Collier and Nurse that need to show they have the verve to step up again in big games. Remains to be seen.

Agreed but I do think Nurse was still affected by her injury.

The chance the no back-back losses streak will end Nov 12 has increased exponentially due to my intention to attend. It would be a fitting, poetic and cosmic bookend of sorts because I attended the 1st game of what became the last losing streak.

Confused
