Damn. I'm starting to think I'm a jinx. Some of my favorite players - Hill, MoMo, and now Mitchell. I better stop liking any of them!

Does this all stem from her non-foul with Godsylla? Or was it something else.

Soon Gwathmey is going to be demanding $5000+ on FD

She is already $4400 in the MN-IN game. Wheeler is now a $5100 player.

That price was fixed before this most recent announcement.

The article says they brought in Jennie Simms for the rest of the season.

This team has had so many set backs starting with Catch retireing, For 1 team to have so many season ending injuries is sad. I wish them all a good recovery. I sometimes wonder if the missed ref's calls and the physical way certain teams are allowed to play has contributed to all these injuries not only on this team but on several other teams. The game has gotten so physical and many players are getting hurt!

The thing is, all the injuries are kinda putting a fog over what was a terrible team even before everyone started getting hurt. Admittedly January got banged up early on, but most of the other injuries came after they were pretty clearly a mess regardless. The injuries have made everything worse, but they've also been largely after the fact.

I've thought that for a long time. "Physical" is a euphemism for "dirty play." Players get fouled too much, too much contact, too many muggings, I mean "hard fouls." it's just stupid. Clean the game up and you will see players getting injured less often and having longer careers. If fans really want to see women beating each other up, they should go to WWE instead.

They need that 1st pick badly that's for sure

What do they need worse, the #1 or a new coach?

The #1 Pick so pokey can run her off and make her reason for becoming HC memorable Laughing

What is Pokey supposed to do with a ragtag bunch of undersized posts, small guards, Gwathmey, and Coleman?

Well said. I would "who can't stay healthy for a whole season in there somewhere. I'd also ask - who is better that Indy could hire? (Cooper assuming if the Dream fire him.)

I wonder if Pokey is banking on Bonner wanting to come to Indiana next year?

If so , things will be disastrous . I don't see Bonner upgrading this team to any type of contending level at all . Even before she left for pregnancy i still wouldn't be able to vision her becoming the savior of this team !

But then there is a parade to the free throw line ...

And if there are 40 FTAs in a game, people complain about that.

They would adjust really quick if we cut fouls down from 6 to 5.

I never understood why it's 6 fouls in the first place. It's the same 40 min as a college game.

When Meesseman fouled out against Montenegro at EuroBasket this year she was confused and asked the ref if she could still play. The ref said yes and had to correct herself when Emma walked away. Make it 5 fouls everywhere.
