The nominees are the Top 14 players in ppg that have played in at least 25 games to this point. In the 34 game era of the WNBA, no MVP has ever played less than 31 games.
The nominees range from 20.1 ppg (Charles & Stewart) to 15.1 ppg (C Gray).
All previous MVPs have scored at least 15 ppg.

I vote for Fowles, because it's not her fault she plays for a head coach who has a worse record when coaching teams with 3 superstars this year than Jenny Boucek. All the other MVP candidates play for teams with head coaches whose strategies don't include making sure the best players don't ever get the ball and making sure the other team scores more points than your own team.

How many MVP polls are we going to make?

I guess the Liberty did a good job denying Fowles the ball in last night's game, but it'd be silly to say that getting the ball to Fowles hasn't been the point of emphasis this season.

She is stepping it up for the coming post season. Nneka is making a resurgence of her own as well.

Compare the stats from yesterdays games for Fowles and Stewart and explain to me my Fowles would be more deserving than Stewart.
Reb Assists Points
Stewart 9 6 19
Fowles 15 1 7

Because most people don't use the same logic outraged Space Cadet uses to prove the Lynx are worse than the Stars, Fever, and Dream, when it comes to voting for MVP.

Because her team was actually winning games this season. The Storm have underperformed this season even with Stewart putting up big numbers.
She will be an MVP one day but not this season

Can I vote for the same person in both polls? For that matter, can I actually vote in both polls?

If I was to make a list it would look like this. I'm not using any formulas, point totals or minimum games played just listing player I think should be there based on being a WNBA fan
Contenders
Fowles, Charles, J. Jones, N. Ogwumike
other players that might get votes
Griner, EDD, Stewart, Parker, Moore, DT, Diggins

I think it's Fowles' award to lose, and even then the only way I think that should happen is if Minnesota loses the top seed to LA, in which case either Parker or Nneka would probably warrant consideration. If the Liberty had had a more consistent season then I'd have Tina in the mix. While the fact remains that Tina has nowhere near the supporting cast of the other players mentioned, I think that the uneven nature of NY's play (and some of Charles' low output offensive games) preclude her from winning it.
That said, if I know my team is going to have one dominant player without a second true star, there's no player I'd rather have than Tina because I think she's the best at singularly carrying a team in a situation where the supporting cast is erratic. But that''s a whole different conversation.

It kinda looks like the people that voted for Ogwumike in pilight's poll have flipped to Parker when given a choice. Interesting.... verrrrry interesting how results can change when given more choices.

I don't know about what other people did, but I haven't voted in any of the MVP polls. I've thought Parker was more important to LA than Nneka all along, though that again is another conversation.
