could be interesting scenario. Sparks play the Stars in what should be an easy win, while the Lynx are struggling without Whalen & Brunson. Sparks win & Lynx lose and the Sparks are .5 behind the #1 seed.

Will Fowles dominate Griner again? If so then the game goes to the Lynx

We haven't been playing well at all. Hopefully, BG reverts back to her play pre-injury. |

Because the Lynx losing tomorrow will probably cause me to be banned for a month from this message board.

Don't worry about it. Merc are like, 0-50 against the Lynx in recent years.

Where I live, I couldn't see the eclipse due to stubborn rain clouds, which I believe is a sign that the Sky and the Sun are superior to the Lynx. Of course the eclipse has also sent temperatures down everywhere, which may be a sign that the Mercury are going down tomorrow.

Sigh, I really want the Lynx to win tomorrow to help the Storm catch the Mercury.
Sigh.

In her 38:41 against NY, Fowles definitely looked like a player who's somewhat fatigued. It will be interesting to see her response vs. Griner tonight. OTOH, Minnesota is now 1.5 games up on LA. I don't know how much right now they'd be prioritizing home court advantage in a series against LA. In spite of last year's outcome, generally speaking a series-deciding game at home still favors the home team. And the top 2 seeds do get considerable time off where attrition from the season should not really be a factor.
Phoenix should have some urgency themselves. They're in legitimate danger of losing a first round home game. And particularly if they lose it to a scorching-hot Seattle team suddenly playing defense...I'd think there's urgency on their side too. But with DT you never know. She could have 35 tonight. She could also take herself out of the game early with dumb fouls, a T or some quick contested shots that are off target.

There's only 6 games left and they get like 9 days off before playoffs.
LAS record: Home 12-1, Road 9-7
If the Lynx can't figure it out, I'll let them know. GET THAT #1 SEED!

I see how this game is going to go already. 4 fouls on Phonix and 1st quarter not even over yet. Guess they are going to call lots of fouls on Phoenix so the Lynx can get to the FT line.Been there 4 times already.

when it's obvious that a player makes contact to the neck and head area...why bother going to the monitor? the official was RIGHT THERE to see Maya get hit... these stoppages are killing the game.
