Ogwumike should get called for an offensive foul when she lowers her shoulder and dribbles right into the defender to create space.

Very respectable performance by the Sky. Too bad they didn't have Coates for the season . . . thanks to Dawn's questionable judgment. |

It's a good thing the Sparks don't play their next game till Tuesday. They looked like they were ready to be carried off the court. The Sky just ran out of gas after they used it all up at the end of regulation and over time. The slower 2nd overtime tempo favored the Sparks.

Some rare stats in this game:
- Both teams shot over 50% on 3FG's, for a combined total of 26-50.
- Both teams had more than 30 assists, for a combined total of 65.
- The white players on one team scored 62% of the team's points.
- Four players on one team and six players combined had double-doubles: Nneka, CP3, Sims, Gray, Slootie, Dolson. |

Great game! I have to admit that I was questioning the trade Chicago made but they look good, play well together and are very gritty. Big, big ups to them! You really can't say enough about them particularly Quigs, Slooty, Dolson and Cappie (with the fresh legs off the bench) in this game! The sets they ran multiple times to get Dolson open is a thing of beauty! With that said, my head is aching because I don't know why LA likes to make things difficult. When they are up near the end of games, they relax far too much and wind down the clock seemingly with no particular play in mind, ending in contested shots and empty possessions which allows teams to come back. There is no way on earth they should not have solid out of bounds, post time out or 8 sec plays that results in assisted buckets. Perhaps teams take away their desired options but it is annoying and they need to stop it!!! I'm like stop playing around and go ahead and take this game, people!!! I know they aren't the only team who does this but good grief! Literally, that was the difference between closing out the game vs. having to play 10 more minutes at the end of a long road trip.
Even with my complaining, a win is a win! I know it has been tiring with wins by NY and Phoenix, there's a bit more breathing room!

Yep, I noticed this too and Dolson, Sloot and CP were threatening triple dubs! I'm wondering if this is a record.

Yep! All of our starters totaled over 40 minutes of play tonight. at least we have four days to rebound, and we will be back home in the friendly confines of Staples Center & the Lisa L. Leslie court. Both Chelsea and Odyssey racked up 10 ASTs. Alana, Nneka, and Ace with double digit REBs.
I don't know where Riquna is health-wise, but Sandrine, Tiffany, and Syd the Kid better be ready to roll on Tuesday night. They need to get ready for post season too just in case bad things happen.

i really like this male commentator but him saying that Parkers defense along with her offense makes her an MVP candidate is just hilarious |
If Parker keeps playing this good, I think she’ll get some votes for MVP |

I think Beard really showed her age in this game. She often looked like she had suction cups on the bottom of her shoes. But when the pace slowed in over time she came though and made some smart decisions. How did they let Dolson get open, not once but twice, to hit closing second threes in regulation and overtime? Especially since she beat them with a last second shot in LA.

I'll give Agler the benefit of a doubt, but why are you not switching everything up 3 with 10 seconds left? Just let Vandersloot have the layup...
Anyway, great game. This was a must-lose for the Sky and they came through.
