What, a Fred Williams team blew a close game? What were the odds?

Damn....Dallas' playoff hopes took a huge hit tonight.Two more wins would have secured them a playoff spot imo,but now ?......

Last 6 games:
@Connecticut
Atlanta
@Connecticut
@Washington
@Chicago
New york

Dallas could win the final game if Laimbeer decides to rest his starters.

Tough schedule for Dallas. Though I still think they make the play-offs. San Antonio's out & I doubt Indiana, Seattle & Atlanta get their act together in time for one of them to take a spot over Dallas.

She should have kept going to the basket to try and score. They needed a basket. Any other time, she would have tried to get to the basket and throw up a wild shot.

Yeah - the way things are going, Dream and Storm may not get 13 wins. The Dallas/Atlanta game is going to be big in the playoff race.

I agree with driving but the second she pulled it back instead of driving fred should of just called a t/o.

Looked to me like she pulled it out because she expected Fred to call timeout, as he usually does in those situations.

Actually it's College Park Center, the arena of the University of Texas at Arlington, that they can't fill.

I wonder if Lacob would dig Diggins.

To be fair, the number of people actually in those stands would have likely been unable to fill a large high school gym had they played in one. it was embarrassingly empty.

This is a trap argument. The 14 largest high school gyms all have more capacity than College Park Center.

There are a few high school gyms in the Bay Area that hold 2,000 ... and we don't have big high schools here.

Who would have guessed they would draw better in Tulsa?

In Tulsa they had a legit arena. Maybe people in Dallas don't want to drive 20 miles to watch a professional sport in a college arena. I wonder if they considered using Moody Coliseum of SMU and how much it would have made a difference.

My HS Gym had 7000 capacity, and that was not terribly uncommon for Indiana HS basketball at the time.
