Carson is out, too. Very thin now at guard now. Thank goodness they have Gruda and Diarra!!

The poor things will have to actually use Wiese, and/or go to the big lineup where Parker or Nneka is the nominal 3. They'll survive.

Good win for Dallas. They might be the team to avoid in the playoffs, assuming they get in.

Indeed, it was a great game for Glo! Not happy that it was against LA but I have to admit that I love watching her play.

These games are always intense because the teams match up quite well, scout the crap out of the opposing team and pose problems for each other. Dallas is relentless and you just can't give them any hope...lol! LA definitely misses Riquna and Essence and hopefully, can get them back soon while finding their road swag!

big win for Dallas!! Terrible loss for Los Angeles. Sun are now 2.5 games behind LA for 2nd place. Wings are now .5 behind New York for 6th and a game behind Phoenix for 5th.

Wings now in the drivers seat among the 4 teams (DAL, SEA, CHI, ATL) fighting for the last two playoff spots. They do have a sort of tough schedule with only 2 of 7 games against losing teams (ATL and CHI).

In both this game and the previous one Parker took too many early three. In this one I remember her taking an early long two pointer with three players on her. That really kills ball movement. Sort of is contagious and it resulted in other players doing the same thing. I guess they must believe that Dallas is the perfect team to pad your numbers against.

I know that having your post players shoot long jump shots is what is current in today's WNBA but I personally hate it. Clayk and I have discussed this before but I'm an old school basketball fan. I love watching Fowles dominate on the low block. She is just great at doing it. Parker can dominate on the low block too if she wanted to excel at it. Her quickness and mobility is better than most players her height. She can use this athletic advantage to dominate on the low block but she likes shooting those LONG jump shots. Rolling Eyes

It was a first half observation based on her body language. She was frequently watching on defense. A lot of minutes is expected from her so I suppose she conserves energy whenever she can. It's kinda odd to see compared to Maya, who never rests, especially in the first half.

Well one is in her 10th year and one is in her 6th i believe. Not saying that should make a difference but we all know the story when it comes to CP3's knees/legs. So the maya comparison is a no brainer , with fitness only that is! Maya's motor is unmatched in the WNBA imo.

Rock on, old school. When folks knew readin', writin' and 'rithmetic . . . and pivot play.
