This is at least the second time that the Mystics have had a game delayed due to weather.

Way back there was a game with the Fever that had to be delayed because the Mystics couldn't get out of DC. Beautiful blue sky in Indiana, who would have thought that an inside event would be cancelled due to weather?

I also remember way, way back when the Big Ten tourney was delayed because it was "raining" in the Hoosier Dome. Mostly over the seats, but some was on the floor. Funny to see people sitting in the stands with umbrellas.

They can make the game up without it being a back-to-back for either team on August 1, 2, 10, 28, 29, 30. The Phone Booth has nothing listed on its schedule for any of those days.

Props to the league for making this tough call. The NWSL should pay attention here because this is how a professional league responds to a player safety issue. No one wants a game to be postponed, but player safety over everything.
