I'm feeling sorry for the Stars, but adding Wilson and a new coach may spiff up the outlook a bit.
...and a few wise trades would help. For instance if Imani is really wanting to be moved, she would add a really nice piece for them.

Is this Stars announcer always an ultra-homer ref critic?

What is the deal with these fouls LA?!!! CP needs 1 assist for a triple dub.

Parker is gonna get a triple double if Agler keeps her out there.

Triple double for Parker but maybe she should get an extra assist since they have been taking them back once they review.

Sims heard us bad mouthing her in the last game...
And Parker gets her 11th insurance assist.

I checked the assists, and while one was heavily tipped and therefore a little generous, basically all 11 were fine. Haven't looked at the boards yet, but given that she had 17, that seems unlikely to drop below 10 even with a WNBA scorer.
So basically, yep, this one sticks. |

It's about time! she got a WNBA triple double. Michael Cooper screwed her out
of some golden opportunities for triple doubles in her early years by foolishly having her run the point in the fourth quarter of games. Congrats to Ace for an accomplishment that was long overdue.

Agreed Jap! She definitely used to threaten triple dubs quite offen. Nice to see her finally get it!
It looks like the league agrees with you, Richyy! They basically showed all of her assists: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLz_Ii9lLcA

And now having looked at the rest, I'd give her the 11 points and 17 boards as well (although you could maybe quibble about one of the rebounds ). Funny that the area she probably struggled most to hit double-digits in was scoring. |

I was going to add after my post criticizing her that she was sure to have a good next game. Williams did the same thing when I criticized her. Have to keep that in reserve to help break Sparks players out of any slump they might encounter.

It's nice to see Jantel breaking out with 18 points, including two treys. They are going to need her offense going forward as we move into the crunch time portion of the season.
Way for Odyssey to look as alive as she did in the season opener. Both she and Riquna are strong enough & tough enough to attack the rim and draw fouls often, thereby affording easy practice shots at the charity stripe to work themselves into rhythm. We still have time to move this offense & defense into a dominating mode by the playoffs, but we need to get cracking now.

Chelsea has been very consistent so far this season. She did, however have an off game, both offensively and on defense against the Stars. It was good to see Sims compensating with a really good game to off set not only an off game by Chelsea but also the sub scoring from both Nanika and Parker. Her + 20 was very significant in the win. No player is immune from having off games so this his sort of depth ( very necessary for team consistency ) is essential if the Sparks expect to make another run at the title.
