After seeing the brackets fly out a few times this week , It got me to thinking who would i like to see the most in a 5 game series against Minny & LA in the semis ? Minny Vs Conn would be Epic & LA vs Wash would really be something to see. But NY vs either would also be a great 5 game series. This year's playoffs are going to be fun .

it's just so hard to say who's going to be seeded #4 - #6 right now with the Griner injury in Phoenix, New York possibly being without Zellous & Washington without Hill. I see Atlanta at #7 and possibly Chicago sneaking into the #8 seed over Dallas. I'm looking forward to a possible Los Angeles-Connecticut showdown in the semis. I'll go out on a limb and predict the play-off match-ups as follows:

FIRST ROUND
#5 New York def. #8 Dallas
#7 Atlanta def. #6 Phoenix

SECOND ROUND
#3 Connecticut def. #7 Atlanta
#5 New York def. #4 Washington

SEMIFINALS
#1 Minnesota def. #5 New York 3-1
#3 Connecticut def. #2 Los Angeles 3-2

FINALS
#1 Minnesota def. #3 Connecticut 3-1

I love this bracket . Except i think Conn can actually defeat the lynx in a 5 game series. Maybe even the same can be said for NY. I have my playoffs listed as this

FIRST ROUND
#5 New York def. #8 Atlanta
#7 Dallas def. #6 Phoenix

SECOND ROUND
#3 Connecticut def. #7 Dallas
#5 New York def. #4 Washington

Semis
LA Def Conn 3-2

NY Def Minny 3-2

LA beats NY 3-1 To Repeat

I think Lynx vs CT would be a fun series. CT could potentially take over as the powerhouse when the Lynx stars start to retire.

I definitely have a feeling we're going to see some upsets in the play-offs. We know New York, Connecticut, Phoenix & even Dallas are capable of beating anyone.

And if Chicago squeaks into the playoffs, they're the only team to beat BOTH Minnesota AND Los Angeles so far this season.

Exactly , this should be great for media and storylines. TBH any of the 8 teams that qualify can upset any team above. Heck id even go on a limb and say 1-10 can all beat / upset each other. The predictions will all crumble im sure Laughing this will be fun .

It is hard to see how motivated and healthy Minnesota and LA are not in the finals, and not in the finals relatively easily.

Of course, the key words are "motivated" and "healthy".

I can't see any way Minny isn't motivated, LA on the other hand....

I also wonder if Minnesota's age hurt them in the Finals last year.

In a five game series vs. a young Connecticut team, yes.

Agreed toad , thats why its so hard to take Minny winning it all vs a team like Conn or even a team like NY *clicking on offense*

Except Minny knows how to win championships. CT or NY has never won a title, let alone with such a young team in CT. If it's Minny vs CT or NY in the finals, Minny will win.
