How is it that the dream always manage to draft the steals of the draft.

Elizabeth Williams, All Star, was yet again a non-factor on both ends when facing a quality center. Griner dominated her in similar fashion. Hell, Stefanie Dolson has torched her twice this season.

I thought Moore's fans would be over her by now. She went to HS here, what 10 years ago? I think it more the typical Atlanta thing where the fans show up for the star players. Hawks games were filled with guy wearing Kobe jerseys when he was in town.
It did seem to me like the best crowd of the season aside from kid's day.
Liz is undersized for a 5. Morello almost seemed more effective against Fowles.

Dawn Staley and Stephanie White were in attendance, in case someone thinks Michael Cooper is on the hot seat. White was sitting with the owners.

I saw that too. I doubt either one of them are candidates because they probably make way more money than a WNBA coach (which is why White left the Fever, I believe.) It is possible that the owners might have been asking what they think of Cooper's coaching. Cooper has many detractors but if you compare the record expected this season and last, expectations have been either met or exceeded. Both times the team was projected to be in the sub-basement of the lottery along with the Stars. He has managed to build a roster in just 2 years. And there is always the question of who would do better - and I don't see any answer to that. Dream have tried firing their way to the top and it didn't work. Firing Cooper could be the next step in the road to ruin.
I don't think they can blame Cooper for Angel preferring the ice cream business to the WNBA, but if they do, I doubt they will find any coach that can get along with her any better.
Another possibility that has occurred to me though is that the Hawks might want to hire Cooper to coach their g-league team. Given his ability to develop players, and past success there, that might be a possibility.

I would have loved to heard the conversation "So Steph - why did think Wheeler was better than Clarendon?"
