There is an argument then that her best use would be in the form of a trade. Would she be worth more to some other team who is hurting in bench depth in the post?

No need for a trade. Kizer will be a Free Agent next season. She can sign with anyone.

She got hurt and then came back clearly slower. That's obviously limited her time. Still not sure if she's totally healthy.

Um, Morgan Tuck! Tuck played 20 minutes against NY and did nothing. Kizer played 10 minutes in the 4th quarter and had 10 points. 3-3 from the floor and 5-5 from the free throw line.

History says the more reliable player got the more of the minutes. Kizer plays well in spurts and i do agree she has not been utilized to her best of abilities , but i would not play her ahead of any of the posts on Usun besides DA. Kizer could help a team like SAN or maybe Seattle but not sure she would fit with the storm.

I beg to differ with you. I don't believe Pedersen or Tuck is a better player than a healthy Kizer. Miller just had to have Kizer, she was doing well in Indiana and they knew how to play her. It's unfortunate that she has been placed in this situation. Good for her that she will be a Free Agent next season. I hope that Swords moves on to another team as well who will utilize her more as they did in NY.

Was meaning this season before the deadline on the 31st.

If the Sun feel they have better options, why not get something for a player they aren't going to take advantage of? Find a cheap rookie with upside to sit on your bench, or grab a second rounder or something.

Kizer is the first 3rd round pick to reach 1000 points since Charde Houston crossed the mark in 2010. A total of 10 3rd rounders have scored 1000+ points in WNBA history, six of them from the 1999 draft.

i agree with the pederson assessment but before going down with an injury took has always been one of this teams leading scorers .
