Three GOP Senators - Collins, Capito, and Murkowski - have already put the kibosh on Scum McConnell's plan to repeal the ACA with no replacement in place.

With all of the talk about McCain and Graham, the only republican who has repeatedly shown a backbone is Collins.

There are five women in the Republican caucus, and I find it interesting that three of them were the three that killed this idea.

I don't believe McConnell was ever serious about a straight repeal. I think he threw it out there as a "let's just get this out of the way right now." He's not stupid. He knew it was doa. He had to raise it in order to shut up Trump and the Ted Cruzes.

Yeah, that's it exactly. As much as I dislike him, he understands politics and is not a dumb man. There is no way he thought this was going to fly if he wasn't able to sell the other plans.

He would also have known that if it did somehow pass the "replacement" would have ended up as something much further left than Obamacare after the disaster a straight up repeal created led to a full Democrat sweep of government, a sweep that even the dems couldn't mess up.
