Nigeria's women's team has been better at getting Americans to play for them, but I am not sure their federation has the resources to do things like file paperwork for a switch. I am led to believe that almost all of their ability to get American players to suit up for them is the result of effort by one American-based fan to identify and contact players for them for free.
