Tiffany Mitchell getting more votes right now than Jasmine/Alyssa Thomas is a complete joke.

Mitchell should not even be in consideration. There are 3, possible 4 Sun players that should be in the All-Star game, Mitchell should not. But whatever.

Jones and the Thomas's should be total lock's, and Williams should at least be highly considered.

No way a .500 team should have 3 or 4 all star players Laughing Laughing Stop being such a homer.

You realize the East All-Star team has to field an entire team somehow? Smile

Well, being the ONLY team to beat Minnesota should count for something.

The Sun are 3rd in the league in net rating. Jones and both Thomases fully deserve it, and Williams has a case as well, especially if you believe team record shouldn't have any bearing on who gets chosen.

I guess since Wimbledon is on ESPN/ESPN2, we have to tune into the WatchESPN app to watch Sportscenter?

Nothing more WNBA than having their starters announced in between ESPN discussing Pitbull's outfit, Nunes being pushed in a pool, and Bielema's butt dial Rolling Eyes

Hang on, first they need to analyze the sizing of Pitbull's outfit at the home run derby

Seattle’s Bird, Five Former MVPs Selected to Start Verizon WNBA All-Star 2017

Quote:
Moore was the overall leading vote-getter among fans (32,866). She was followed by Delle Donne (31,414), Parker (29,133), Fowles (24,904) and Bird (24,841).

Fan voting served as the tiebreaker for players in a position group with the same score. Parker (29,133 fan votes) won the tiebreaker with Sparks teammate Nneka Ogwumike (21,975) for the third starting spot among West frontcourt players

Fans cast 604,680 votes, more than double the number in 2015 (280,670).

Minnesota’s Cheryl Reeve will serve as the West head coach and New York’s Bill Laimbeer will guide the East after the Lynx and Liberty finished with the best regular-season records in their respective conferences in 2016.

Awesome i missed that , glad to see she deserves this season ! Wheres Stewie though ? Drop McBride or does each team need a rep ? I wonder how many votes did Lady plum receive and if the League rescinded any of the votes due to her not performing up to par > Laughing

Yeah they aren't even the best players on their respective teams.

In all honestly though, this could have been a lot worse. 7 of the 10 picks were good IMO.

If she played in the East, she might have gotten enough votes! I mean, if they didn't rescind any. Razz

"Where's Stewie" is right. I love both Stewie and Loyd, but if Reeve picks one more Seattle player, Stewie has been playing more like an all-star. Ooh, the players ranked Loyd ahead of Sue...interesting. Might Mo Jeff get in over McBride?
