Pierre was recently hired as an interim AC at Cal while two coaches were on maternity leave. Don't know how all this fits ...
Pierre, by the way, might have been the best perimeter defender I've ever seen who didn't make it past college. She couldn't shoot at all and is undersized but man, could she guard ...

Word on the street is that Bridgette Gordon is interested in the AC job at Tennessee left vacant by the departure of Jolette Law. Gordon is a UT alum who played on two of Pat Summitt's championship teams and last was an AC at Wichita State for Jody Adams-Birch. She would probably be welcomed with open arms by the fans at TBA.

Catch has been very clear about not wanting to coach, period. Ever. While she enjoys mentoring young people and holding camps, her future is in the front office. Kara hasn't been interested in coaching at all until recently when she coached a 3-on-3 team, but I don't know that big time coaching is in her future. Her degree is in finance, and I wouldn't be surprised to see her in the front office somewhere. As my late ex once said, she might *own* the WNBA some day...or the NBA.

I don't think I'd favor Gordon though. I think the team really needs someone to bring the freshmen point guards along, and I doubt Gordon is right for that job.

I saw a tweet suggesting that Diane Richardson is the new hc at Towson, but haven't seen confirmation at the Towson site yet. [edited]

Pacific added AC Amanda Brown, most recently director of operations at Gonzaga.
AC Amy Farrell married last year, and had a baby in April. She took a job with United Way of San Joaquin County, and said she'd attend all the home games.
I said I don't think she'll be able to stand it.
Amy Van Hollebeke was the face of Pacific women's basketball in two pictures: When Fullerton knocked us out of the Big West tournament in her senior year, the photo was two Titans running off the floor to celebrate, while our point guard sat on the floor in the background with her face buried in her hands. On the other dramatic face of athletic competition, we put a joyful Amy on the cover of our preseason Fastbreak publication — the picture came after she hit from halfcourt to beat UC Davis at the buzzer.
Our point guard for two seasons, then the DOBO and AC for five more. The program just won't be the same without her.
