| 10,000 Fugitives? Isn't that a band? Natalie Merchant seemed so harmless. The Patriot Act is finally paying off.

That's another thing, buck. Isn't anyone else uncomfortable with the government of the United States (and you BETTER believe it relied HEAVILY on provisions of the Patriot Act in this operation) rounded up and mass arrested 10K people in one sweep?
That's freaky! Why are we letting and why isn't the media screaming about the government using the Patriot Act to go after domestic criminals when the Justice Dept. PROMISED in front of Congress that the law would only be used to combat terrorism? Why people?
They nabbed the freaking Boy Scouts of America official, who was not known to have ever commited a prior crime in his life, for having child pornography on his computer by using the Patriot Act!
And they do this for a reason. It breaks the ice with the public about using the Patriot Act ON AMERICAN CITIZENS because who in the heck is going to stand up and say that it was wrong to arrest a guy for having child pornography? Nobody. And the precedent is set.
"Whatever you have to do, G-men. You're our heroes!"
