Yep. Cappie is second only to Sue Bird in assists for the season. And how well is her team doing? It's a matter of her having the ball in her hands that she wants. I don't know if it was a career high or not but I'm very happy to see an increase over early this season with the Styx. I can't really speak to EDD's time with the Sky, but it was clear to me as a Mystics fan that an intervention was needed. EDD has been very successful at scoring with three defenders hanging all over her, the only thing that would work to change it was re-training of the entire team.

Now, watching Sylvia Fowles treat EDD like a rag doll in the paint, it should be clear that the Mystics need a big and tough Center in the game at all times. I don't think Emma would do much better than EDD did against Big Syl. And EDD was playing alongside a big, tough center (K.Thomas) or power forward playing center (T.Hawkins).

I'm loving THawk's game but she's not quite big enough to defend Big Syl or Brittney. This is where the loss of Kia Vaughn really stands out.

I understand that when Big Syl or Brittney are in Beast Mode, it's hard for anybody to defend them, but they can be limited by good and big defenders plus good team defense. And clearly the team can be defeated when the supporting cast is outscored.
