I watched alot of Maryland games this past year, that girl Ieshia Small got alot of talent, she will be a 2nd or 3rd round sleeper. but i think she won't fly under the radar next year due to all the transfers and Grads leaving so she can definitely up her stock.

on another note on the 2018, keep a eye on Raigyne Moncrief from LSU. great speed, great mid range game and plays great defense. SEC Defensive Player of the Year. im hopin my Libs can pick her up in the 2nd or 3rd round

Also out of the SEC a player to watch as an intriguing draft pick maybe late 1st round possibly Khaalia Hillsman out of A&M !

Oh i love her game she's a beast! She set the Texas A&M single season record with a 62.4 field goal percentage. The PG Knox for A&M lead the country in a 8.9 assists a game lol i was a lil surprise why nobody atleast sign her to a training camp? she was a good PG

the SEC...man its a deep deep conference...i'm curious to see how Alexis Jennings plays in SC next year from transferring out of Kentucky, she was a solid player for the Lady WildCats

Naw. Knowing them they'll sign another PG that they never needed in the first place. This team would be good right now had they kept Danielle Robinson along with Moriah Jefferson.

Agreed , If they would have kept D-Rob & Moriah along with Coates possibly , this team would be alot different !!!

I don't see Russell as a lottery pick. Nor do I see Vivians as a first round pick.

I don't think it's very likely that Connecticut passes on Gabby Williams.

I agree on that, Im excited to see Gabby's game grow to another level in her senior season, its gonna fun to watch. Heart, hustle, Speed, athletic ability off the charts, unselfish can pass, rebound...i mean who wouldn't want that? You know what you gonna get with UCONN players

I see russell at 6-10 . All those teams could use her at the 4 or 5 . I especially love the T. McCowan to Dallas Pick #Prayers

Because 5'11" power forwards with no 3-point range have been drafted to highly in the past. Cough...Nina Davis. Replace with Kia Nurse and we're in complete agreement over the top 12 at this point, though, well done.

I'd like to add another name to the list of possible 1st rounders...Cecelia Zandalasini, a 21-year old Italian wing that has been the best player in EuroBasket so far. She has a big body and craftiness and jumper that reminds me a lot of Penny Taylor. I think she could be a legit player in the W if a team could get her to come over regularly.

Russell is tall but seems lacking in skills and consistency. Dream don't really need another Holivay or Henry.

Id give russell the edge over both of those players on the offensive end . Her offensive skills have proven themselves. Its her aggressiveness on the defensive & rebounding ends that worry me. Her offense is what will make her a top 10 pick.

Russell has decent skills. The question with her is motivation, but that seems to be an issue with a lot of recent Tennessee players. Some would argue the problem is really coaching.

I agree with Nurse over Shakayla Thomas, especially if you're talking about New York. The Liberty like both defense and UConn players. I think Nared and Muldrow go before Thomas, and probably before Vivians.

If she can't find it in the "rah-rah" atmosphere of LV Basketball, I don't think she will find it in the WNBA.

Nurse will be missing games fairly often, I would think, for the Canadian NT. Same for J. Canada. (Not saying anything about Thomas v. Nurse, however, since they play different positions.)

You still want a player if she's really good. The Liberty traded for Prince even though they were well aware of her responsibilities to Russia. Besides, with so many Americans becoming "foreign", I don't know if you can safely say anyone isn't a risk for national team duty at some point.

Jordin Canada is an American. Unless California secedes from the US and becomes a separate country, she's not a risk at the moment. Wink

That's funny. I thought I read she was Canadian. I suppose the next thing you are going to say is that Joe Montana was not from Montana.

Agreed on Thomas, although I think her energy level could lead her to make it as a situational defensive specialist.

Unless the league mysteriously modified the rules, Zandalasini will not be eligible. It was somewhat surprising that she went undrafted last year and she can sign with anyone right now if they want her.

Again, it's interesting to try to rank Vadeeva on this list both as a prospect (assuming immediate availability and a desire to play when available) and to try to provide a reasonable discount factor knowing that she will likely not be here every season.

5'11 pf with no three point range doesn't that describe Gabby Williams?

I think Russell is going to have a break out season this year. She was starting to show really well at the end of last year. If she plays consistently decent all season long her size and skill set will have her right on the border of the lottery.

Billings is my way too early pick for the Liberty.

I thought Williams was an undersized 4, but if you look at her numbers she has the game of a versatile combo forward, she has also shown and had success vs bigger players, Gabby is like the female kawhi leonard.

McCowan would still need to declare early for the 2018 draft. Should make her a top 5 pick along with Wilson, DeShields, Mitchell & Williams. Collier declaring early would definitely shake things up.

Gabby Williams arrived at UConn as a guard. She was converted to 4 because the team didn't have enough posts. Williams can clearly handle the ball and she is an excellent passer (5.1 apg). Except for points, where Thomas has a slight edge, Gabby has better numbers across the board. Obviously, Williams is also a superior defender. She shouldn't have any trouble transitioning to either wing position. Yes, it will help if she develops a 3Pt shot, but Gabby brings enough to the table right now to justify a 1st Round pick.

I view Thomas as a small Shayla Cooper without the shooting range.

Just for fun if it was today no early entries

1. SA Wilson (SA just got better, but make the playoffs better?)
2. Chi Deshields (This should help in Chicago)
3. Dallas Russell (I realize this is crazy but will look better after Tenn gets to the FF and Russell contributes to their success)
4. Atl Turner (If she returns from her ACl this season)
5. Conn G. Williams (Does she start at the 2, or back up 2-4?)
6. Indy K. Mitchell (Pokey can't believe her luck, attack of the Mitchell's back-court in Indy)
7. PX Billings (PX needs a big)
8. Seattle Canada (is she the heir apparent to Bird?)
9. NY Nared (The not flashy do everything SF the Liberty fans have been waiting for?)
10. Was L. Brown (Instant offense off the bench, Lexie will basically be the new Latta)
11. LA Vadeeva (N. Ogwumike a teammate of hers in Russia convinces her to come over to LA for the summer)
12. Minn Nurse (A future back court of Nurse and A. Jones could be interesting)
