He's Batman. I'm going to assume that he's gone into hiding and will emerge when the time is right. Don't tell me otherwise.

I always liked Batman more than Superman. Superman had three weaknesses, Kryptonite, magic and the need to protect the people he cared for, whereas Batman had more frailties and needed more cunning and stealth to survive, which is why he was so well portrayed by Adam. He is (I could use 'was' but "is" is more appropriate) my favorite Batman, and I think I'll start getting more of the episodes on iTunes. I always wanted to be able to fight and defend myself like Adam's Batman.

But what I really wanted was the Batmobile. Now THAT was an automobile! I loved the emergency Bat-Turn, with the toggle handle and the chutes billowing out from behind. That was an awesome special effect!

All 15 Celebrity Window Cameos from the 1960s Batman TV Series

Quote:
A recurring gag on the 1960s Batman TV series during the show's first two seasons (including the Batman motion picture which was released between the two seasons) was that Batman (played by Adam West) and Robin (played by Burt Ward) would encounter celebrities during their "Batclimb." As Batman and Robin scale a building's outside wall, a celebrity would open a window and make a remark. The gag was discontinued in the show's third (and final) season. Here, then, is the lowdown of all fifteen celebrity window cameos on the show.
