1. Minnesota or LA
2. LA Or Minnesota
3. Seattle
4. New York
5. Dallas
6. Washington
7. PHX
8. Atlanta
9. Chicago
10. Indiana
11. Connecticut
12. Chicago

Other than your San Antonio omission typo, that's very much the way I see things too, although that bottom 6 ... I have no idea how to rank them against each other so I'd just use lottery balls. So therefore Phoenix would still be at the top of the mini group Razz but the rest I have no clue right now. That's not the half of the list that matters anyway so whatever.

Washington hasn't looked good. Atlanta's looked a lot better than most of us expected. Phoenix has been a bit of a surprise this season. 10 new players on the roster, including 5 rookies, and they look better than all the cellar dwellers in the league.

Lol there so bad i forgot to even put them on the list Laughing . Edited and updated. And yeah i feel the same way i honestly think Conn are better than All of the lower tier teams but with a winless record i cant give them credit. PHX also i agree with they are ahead of that last pack but its a toss up from 6-12 maybe even 5-12 Embarassed

Correct washington has not , but I wont judge Atlanta until they play someone other than Conn/Chi or Indy ...cellar dwellars also.

The Mystics still have to gel as a team. It's not going to help that Emma is leaving soon.

So the Mystics are the only team that gets the "Gel" reason for not being good right now ? I think all 12 teams can say that at this point .

Interesting ratings, but consider this. The Storm (2nd), Sparks (4), and Fever (10) are all unbeaten at home and winless on the road. The Fever's losses are all to top half teams and they have beaten the Sparks. Seattle hasn't beaten a top 5 team.

I believe Seattle is improved, but their schedule is incredibly skewed. The Storm have 13 of their 20 games before the All-Star break at home, and play only 4 of their 9 games against Minnesota, LA and Phoenix before the break. It is as if the league wanted the Storm to look good before the All-Star game to assure interest in the game. It is quite possible the Storm will have the second best record at the break, but I don't think they are the second best team.

7. Washington
8. Dallas
9. Connecticut
10. Indiana
11. Chicago
13. San Antonio

Laughing The Liberty and Mystics were both guessed to be in the top 4 maybe 5 before the season started or atleast above the Storm in the standings and we beat them both.

We will see how we do against the Lynx this weekend. If we make it a close game then we deserve a top 3 spot..

It's still early for wholesale change ... (but)

1 Lynx , rolling

.

2 Sparks , with Sims out and Riquna gimpy , Beard + Carson have to chase more PGs around than last year.

3 4 5 6
Merc , who wants to bet they have a better record this year? Hey nobody took that bet.
Wash , still how soon can they jell?
Storm needed a big and a big-big, a small guard and back-up point, got them ... hey you gotta play them
NY is down how many starters and has a size gap like last years Sun and Sky, can't so what all that.

7 Atl , Angel's production replaced by ... hey pleasant surprise

8 9 10 = rebuild on the fly / doldrums / chance at a higher pick
Fever Sun Sky

11 12
Wings replace their top 2 players from last year with rookies, uh oh health Paris , and hope
Stars can get +5 wins from #1 , +2 wins from #5 , +1 win from PG improvement

AP WNBA Rankings
The lone first place vote for LAS was Debbie Antonelli. Mad
Never mind the 3 losses and close call with SAN. All that matters to Debbie is MIN'S loss to CON and LAS's dismantling of PHX.

Thanks for pointing that out. I edited mine to move Dallas to 6 and moved some others around. Sun and Dallas are tough to rank - both have about the same record. Sun have some big wins lately but did lose to Dallas.

Dallas benefited from an easy schedule to get those four wins. Had they been wins against Minnesota, Los Angeles and/or Washington; I'd move them up.
