Dallas is currently tied in the poll and is likely to win because it has the Fab 5, the NC 3, the most inexperience, no height, no scoring from the back court, the worst coach, the worst record of the decade, the second worst climate, and the worst name.
Compared to all that, what the heck credentials does Minnesota have?

Having lived in MN for 3 years I would debate the part about the worst climate, but I don't think that will have much impact since the arena is probably air conditioned. A decade ago, the Lynx were the perennial wall flower, so Dallas can take heart. Aside from all that, I think the Lynx win.

You do have the blessing of two distinct seasons: July and winter. |

Minnesota's two seasons are actually winter and road construction, and a lot our winters have actually been mild lately.

Climate change actually doesn't suck for us....
The downside of Minnesota has always been the long winters. I wouldn't trade the other seasons for anything. Even winter is nice when it doesn't last 5 or 6 months. And lately it has only been about 3 months long. Can't complain about that.

Ironic that injury info is available on a player that might not even get into the game.

Why did the announcer say that the Wings have a 13-game losing streak to the Lynx? They beat the Lynx in Minnesota 2 seasons back. (Then Skylar got injured...) Maybe he meant a home losing streak to the Lynx.

Rebounds 7-2 Lynx. Both teams 6/10 FG, but Lynx hitting their 3's and getting more FTs.

Probably not. But she saw Gray from the right before she turned left and swung the elbow. Why swing it if there's no one there?

Is it weird that I like Wings' 2nd unit better than the starters? Maybe it's the energy.

Some terrible foul calls down the stretch.

The swing is to pivot for an outlet pass. It was clearly a foul since she has to know where people are at, but it was in no way flagrant.

The elbow doesn't need to be that high nor that wide to pivot for an outlet pass. Knowing PP, I think she was at least trying to intimidate with her elbow, even if she wasn't actually trying to hit anyone.
