Man, I truly hope Odyssey is ok....

I just realized the SWK hasn't played. Anyone recall how she played in their previous games?

They only had one previous game and she was glued to the bench in that one as well. Just not in the rotation yet.

With a very heavy limp. Final minute of the third quarter if you want to go back and find it.

the clock is ticking.....

Once the final buzzer sounds, I'm assuming they are driving her straight to the airport. Laughing

It looks to me like Wiese is actually taking Carson's minutes. All of her minutes have been at the SF spot.

R. Williams is not getting minutes because Agler is only playing a 3 gurad rotation with Gray and Beard starting and Sims getting all the other minutes at the 1 and the 2. Hopefully Sims isn't hurt that would be a crappy circumstance for Williams to get court time.

2.Beard,Parker & Nneka led the way.

3.@ Wiese lighting Washington's ass up.So far i've been wrong about Sydney.Hope she continues her great play.

4.Hope Sims is okay.

5.Williams will be gone by the all-star break.

6.Laughing At anyone believing this washington team is a title contender with their poorly balanced lineup.

Just watched it. It looked more like her ankle than her knee to me.

Embarassed You're right! My bad! Laughing I was wondering if she got any time during pre-season too, but I suppose no one really saw those. Laughing

Indeed, it did seem to be her ankle. Hopefully she just tweaked it.

The announcers thought Sims twisted her ankle in the replay and you could see the left ankle in a awkward position.

Riquna Williams has the WNBA records for points in a game (51) and yet right now is not a rotation player in the league.

But on the bench both she and the trainer appeared to be grabbing the knee.

That someone was me...and I clearly corrected myself during/in the seattle/sparks game thread.

Like Curt Miller was by giving them Gray. LA are a bunch of evil genius and I love it. But when you trade the draft pick that became Tina Charles for Noelle Quin something good has to come your way.

It's good to have depth because players are going to have off nights and that way you have someone else that can take up the slack. Weise had a really bad series during the NCAA's she couldn't buy a bucket and that hurt their chances. Right now she seems hot. But one thing I always noticed about her she does get rid of the ball quickly.

I also hope that Sims is OK. I still think Gray is a better true point to run the half court sets, but Sims also has her strengths and they could have a solid rotation using both. Sims seems to not be forcing her shots and that bodes well for the team. If they get decent production from Weise they could have a pretty solid rotation. Weise is definately an upgrade defensively from Kristi.

Players are always going to have hot and cold streaks so a few games is not really a good indication of what they will do throughout the season. But so far so good especially scoring balance wise.

Aww at Kristi crying while getting her ring Crying or Very sad I like her more when she was going off wearing the purple and gold verses tonight.

Weise is trying to get a head start on ROY before Plum comes back lol

LA rings were nice.Where was Dabovic Jelena Wauter it? would have been nice to see them get their rings too.

Nice to see DeRozan come to watch his hometown wnba team work. I know he is a CP3 fan. It cool that he took his daughter to show love to the ladies.

Despite that, people will say there's not enough talent for expansion...

It's only the second weekend, but it definitely looks like the Sparks are the team to beat this season. Williams must be in Agler's dog house. We'll see if she plays in their next game.

Still better than trading the draft pick that became Tina Charles for Sidney Spencer. At least Noelle Quinn's still in the league. (Me? Still salty? Nawwwwwwwww.)
