You are correct. Fagbenle was drafted as the 35th pick by Minnesota in 2016 but chose to finish her studies at USC and delay her start in the WNBA until 2017.

Add Shayla Cooper and Tori Jankoski to the list of 2017 draftees who were waived (by Chicago yesterday) before playing in a regular season game.

Peters was neither drafted nor a 2017 rookie. She played for San Antonio last season after going undrafted.

Haley was in the 2014 class along with Chelsea Gray, Tricia Liston, Richa Jackson, who could still be an oversea pro, but has decided to stay stateside with her husband Rodney Hood and their kid, and also Chloe Wells, who Duke sometimes pretends doesn't exist.

Haley went to camp with the Mystics after her senior year and then played in Spain after being cut. She did well, signed with another team in Spain, then had her WNBA rookie season, and went to Spain again.
