The most interesting story of the series is Fenerbahce's president attacking YDU's president, leading to them both being suspended. YDU's president used to be on Fener's board.

I must say that in the games I've watched, Parker has been thoroughly underwhelming throughout these playoffs. It's like she's just going through the motions and collecting a paycheck. Oh, except when she's complaining to the refs (which is frequent). THEN she shows some enthusiasm.

I hear you and definitely understand what you're saying. She's had some decent games and then others where it's like, What on earth are you doing?! I didn't see this one, but looking at the stats I don't want to go back and look! lol! I think one of the odd things for me is watching her play the 3...on the wing. While imho, she epitomizes versatility, her jump shot is not/has not been consistent enough of late for her to fully be great out there and bc we all know she is most effective at least finishing in the paint, it looks off and at least "appears" that she's languishing. I've asked her (and a few other players) to stop going at the refs Razz Laughing. Then again, I noted her grabbing her back and knee, etc. a game or two ago, so I just need her to do what she needs to do to stay healthy, come back to the States, get some rest and be ready to go!

Fenerbahce stays alive with a 71-70 win at home today. First loss for Yakin Dogu in this year's playoffs.

So McBride and Vandersloot and Parker and Quigley and Lavender will be a little later in getting back to their WNBA teams.

Turkey goes the maximum so we have a game Wednesday:
http://www.womensbasketball247.com/2017/05/turkish-league-finals-game-4-may-14th/

Angel has 33p/9r/8a/9s and Gintare Petronyte had 23p/9r and their team still only won 75-68. The foreigners on the other team are Aisha Sutherland and Diana Delva and the next game is Monday. I saw an enormous banner that the team printed to welcome Angel. Maybe she just wanted that more than any rest.

You really have to love a league where you can bring in ringers for the playoffs.

No rest for Angel on Monday as her team needed her for the full 45 minutes to win 67-59 in overtime. She had 27p/15r/10s and Petronyte had 14p/23r so they could use a little more help from their teammates because their opponents are getting comparatively much less from Sutherland and Delva.

Do we have a link for game 5 Turkey? Anybody know the timing?

ok, I found the last few minutes - a real battle. Yakin won by one point. Now looking forward to 'our' girls coming home.

If I'm understanding it correctly, I think Yakin Dogu won 76-75. Sad

Correct. Parker missed 2 FTs with :02 and YDU won by 1.

Sheesh! That had to hurt. Someone mentioned that she got injured a bit running into Quanitra Hollingsworth....who knows? I missed the game but looking at the stats, she definitely did quite a bit of everything though (18p, 12r, 5 asts). Sadly, Quigley was pretty cold today but she had been good for them all season...
My goodness, I thought Birsel's 11 assists was good, Sloot had 14!

Congrats to Yakin Dogu!

Whew, Turkish fans...well some are brutal...Yikes!

Team USA is going to regret letting Sloot become Hungarian

Indeed, they will miss Sloot for sure when they SHOULD HAVE HAD NEW A GUARD ON THE LAST SQUAD! Sorry for yelling but I'm still annoyed by them not properly passing the torch in the last Olympics. Since DT is playing in the W until 2020, do we think she will go for her 5th?

Oy vey! Here's a video of CP's free throws. It kinda looked like she missed that 2nd one on purpose to get a quick put back but then again, she was probably following her shot bc she knew it was off and then she face planted: https://twitter.com/JWsBasketball/status/864894648367673344

Yep, that hurt! Goodness!

Nah, that second miss isn't on purpose, it's just really, painfully short. There's so much pressure on players in those situations that you can understand virtually anyone missing, but that was an ugly pair of free throws.

Just because she signed an extension through 2020 doesn't mean she's going to play that long.

Last article on overseas play for the season from our site with Turkey:
http://www.womensbasketball247.com/2017/05/turkish-league-finals-game-5-may-17th/

Sometimes it's great that Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have 35+ Million crazy fans around the world each and other times it's brutal.

Her team linked up the first one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siWp27s4MJQ

No idea on the others.

Angel had 31p/16r in 35 minutes and fouled out as the team lost 74-65 as Sutherland matched her with 32p/17r and Delva's 13p/12r offset Petronyte's 14p/12r, leaving the domestic players to settle the game.

Thanks for all the coverage over the whole WNBA offseason, awhom111. Know it must be a hell of a lot of work (especially considering some of the international league sites are kinda indecipherable).
