Shocked W.T.FU*K!!!!!!! Mad

Yes, I'm a Sooner fan, but no, I only get my newz (of ANY basketball sorts) from here. Sometimes ESPN.com during the season. What the hell is going on in Norman??

Yes, Nancy was a work in progress. She reminded me of (fellow 6'9" player) DeHaan out of Michigan, years ago. Not the toughest player out there, but a potential to be developed.

I'd like to be nice and say Nancy may have very realistically come to the conclusion that DI hoops was tougher than she thought, especially in a P5 conference. But Dungee, too?

SHERRI???? Evil or Very Mad

Mulkey still needs to mature, OU has a 2018 commit who said she would like to wear#32 when she gets to OU, and Nancy is having issues with that.

Ummm, please tell me that is NOT "The Reason" she's leaving!! Shocked

I wish I could say it wasn't so silly but it seems to be one of the reasons, also hearing that she didn't like the offseason program OU runs.

Well, that certainly makes the "WTF" department for the day.

maybe they should just start having a 'transfer fair' where all the schools set up booths in one location and the potential transferees go around and get wooed.

Meghan Mandel and Chelsea Gibson will transfer from Marquette. Mandel's transfer is news to me but Gibson's move to Troy for the 2017-18 season had been announced by Troy previously - Gibson graduated from Marquette and will be eligible immediately for Troy.

Tyra Johnson has left Auburn for a JC, Chipola College in Marianna, FL. By doing this, she can avoid having to sit out a year and can be eligible to play right away when she transfers.

Cooper leaves TN? This thread is only slightly less mind-boggling than a day at the White House. Razz

Why would what the recruit wants to wear matter? Do any colleges have a history of forcing their players to change jersey numbers to accommodate incoming freshman?

Not sure, but laNesia Williams had #32 in 15-16 but gave it to Mulkey for this season I guess the #32 means something to Nancy Mulkey.

This is some real BS , I hope the influx of recruits didnt scare her away bc she was bound to start ahead of the incoming freshmen ! Ugh this hurts our FF chances , she was an impactful player as a freshmen although alot of bone head plays , she was a baller. WNBA talent for sure , im starting to hate this transfer rule crap. 2017 has been the year of the Transfer

Mercedes Russell took #21 from Nia Moore when she came in her freshman year. I don't know if Moore was forced to change or if she gave it up willingly.

Nia was pretty chill. She probably was okay with the change.

Apparently Jordan Adams/Southern California has been granted a 6th year to play. She is on the 2017/18 roster(she wasnt listed on it a few weeks ago) Adams only played 8 games back in her freshman year(2012/13) and last season tore her ACL in game #5. She played under both Coopers and now will play for Mark Trakh. I am not sure, but she might now be working on her PHD in Communications Management. Best Wishes and stay healthy, soon to be "Doc" Adams

Word is out on the JMU campus that F Savannah Felgemacher has asked for her release. This hasn't yet been confirmed but is pretty well accepted as true.
