Elonu's waiving is mentioned therein.

What was the point of bringing in Elonu?

To have us basement dwellers google her and collectively say "who the fuck is this?"

I mean that's the only reason I can think of. Laughing

To give us basement dwellers something to chat about.

Can't find the original quote about cellar dwellers. Even the original RebKell post seems to have vanished.

It was regarding the WNBA draft. Miller said coaches and GMs see mock drafts/player prospects differently than people sitting in their basement, which one person here apparently took great offense to. I think most realistic posters are just taking it as the joke it was intended, though.

Alyssa Thomas Concussion Puts Sun In Unfortunate Position

Quote:
Unfortunately for the Sun, in the Atlanta game, Thomas suffered a concussion and has still not been approved for basketball activities. The Sun coaching staff, Miller said, was frustrated that Thomas suffered her concussion in the first game of the season and despite their requests for review of the play the refs declined to do so.

Hayes is Hayes. Was taking to the dressing room on Lytle hands. And today is already shooting jumpers. So she is, probably from Wolverine's clan

From 6/2016:

Former UConn defensive star, 5-11 guard Kelly Faris, in her third year with the team, played so hard she brought Miller to tears.

Faris had two steals and played hard-nosed defense for 21 minutes Sunday; Friday in the Sun’s loss to Atlanta she had two steals and was 2 for 2 from the line in 13 minutes.

Among the last players to make the team, a choked up Miller said Faris’ last two games are the reasons “I kept her. She’s not the most talented but she plays hard … and she cares. I just love to coach kids who are going to overachieve and she’s a kid who has exceeded expectations,” he added. Faris also pays attention to scouting reports which Miller felt some veteran players did not respond to as well.

Well, I hope shorty is floating on a pool of his own salty tears now.

I love Faris, but even UConn fans realize that she needs to score at this level. Sadly, effort/hard work isn't enough.

Really. Thibault said she wasn't good enough to play for the Sun.

So? Even if thibault drafted her,
She wouldn't still be with the Sun anyways. And no one here says Thibault is at all smart. He had a pathetic draft record with the Sun aside Whalen and Charles. The rest of his picks were all basically useless.

I have my own cemented thoughts about the sun and every time a player leaves i cant help but assume its because of UNCASVILLE and the woods Laughing . no one wants to play in the cellar and Woods!!! Automatic turn off ..its like a prison you need extra re assurance either a family member of bff or w.e you prefer as a crutch there with you. Unless you went to UCONN and understand the Culture the players never really seem to stay long.Players want the big cities and uncasville is just uncasville i guess but Thats just my personal outlook on how ive pictured the sun franchise over the years. So i believe TIP actually dodged a bullet Laughing
